Montreal's Specialist in Marble and Natural Stone Restoration

I have spent the last 24 years restoring marble in South Shore townhomes, Brossard condo lobbies, Saint-Lambert heritage entryways, and Boucherville commercial floors. Techni-Marbre is a small, family-owned workshop based on the South Shore, and I bring that same artisan approach to every project across Greater Montreal, from Westmount and Outremont to the West Island, the Plateau, and Vieux-Montréal.

My focus is narrow on purpose. I work in four categories: marble polishing for floors, countertops, and stairs; full marble restoration combining grinding, repair, and resealing; spot marble repair for chips, etches, and cracks; and natural stone restoration focused on travertine, terrazzo, limestone, and slate. I can also work on granite, quartz, and quartzite when needed, but they stay secondary to the core materials. Whether the surface is a single Brossard kitchen island or a 200 m² heritage foyer in Old Montreal, my process is the same: assess the stone, agree on the finish, and execute it by hand with diamond abrasives.

Marble Polishing

Honed and high-gloss finishes brought back to floors, countertops, vanities, stairs, and fireplace surrounds with a progressive diamond grit sequence. Dust-controlled, compatible with occupied homes, finished with a penetrating sealer. Read about my marble polishing service in Montreal.

03

Marble Repair

Targeted repair for chips, cracks, and dull spots, often without removing the stone. Colour-matched epoxy and polyester resin, then on-site polishing. Ideal for kitchen counters, bathroom vanities, and stair noses. See how I handle marble repair.

04

Natural Stone Restoration

Travertine, terrazzo, limestone, slate, and marble-adjacent natural stones all wear differently, and each one needs its own treatment. I diagnose first, then restore, repair, polish, or seal accordingly. Granite, quartz, and quartzite can still be mentioned where relevant, but they are not the main positioning. Residential and Commercial Work

On the residential side I take on countertops, floors, vanities, fireplace surrounds, stair treads, shower walls, and full heritage restorations, mostly in homes across Brossard, Saint-Lambert, Westmount, and the West Island. On the commercial side I work with hotel lobbies, condo boards, restaurants, retail boutiques, and corporate offices, scheduling around occupied hours and phasing the work so the space stays usable. Whether you need a one-room polish or a long-term commercial marble restoration contractor in Montreal, the approach scales without losing the artisan finish.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What areas do you serve around Montreal?

My primary service area is the South Shore: Brossard, Saint-Lambert, Boucherville, Longueuil, La Prairie, and Greenfield Park. I also serve Westmount, Outremont, TMR, Hampstead, Côte-Saint-Luc, Old Montreal, Griffintown, the Plateau, NDG, the West Island (Pointe-Claire, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Beaconsfield, Kirkland), and Laval. If you are anywhere in Greater Montreal, I will come quote in person.

Q: Do you work on residential and commercial projects?

Both. Residential work is the bulk of my schedule (luxury homes, condos, heritage properties), and I also take on hotel lobbies, condo common areas, restaurants, retail, and corporate offices. Commercial jobs are typically phased and scheduled around occupied hours.

Q: How quickly can I get an estimate?

I respond to every estimate request within 24 hours and book an on-site visit, usually within the same week. The visit and the written quote are free.

Q: Is marble restoration messy? Will I need to vacate during the work?

No. My equipment is dust-controlled and water-managed, so the work is compatible with occupied homes. I cover adjacent surfaces, isolate the work area, and clean up at the end of each day. For most projects you can stay in the home throughout.

Q: What is the difference between polishing, repair, and restoration?

Polishing brings the surface back to its chosen sheen using diamond abrasives, no major damage involved. Repair addresses local damage like chips, cracks, and stains. Restoration is the full treatment (grind, repair, hone, polish, seal) for stone whose surface is worn across the entire area.
